Description :

Elevation design of a Duplex Residence with commercial units in the ground floor. The Client wanted Elevation with contemporary- fusion design incorporating abstract geometrical shapes with black and grey colour combinations. The building had several openings and the client wanted us to do something innovative to get natural ventilation and sunlight but also maintain their privacy.

Solution:

It is a south-east corner plot with roads on both south and east side being the foremost building in the junction. The building gets ample amount of sunlight and our main strategy was to design something which doesn’t block the daylight. We suggested them to add terracotta jaali blocks for the cladding and terracotta tile roofing along with CNC panels for openings in the façade satisfying the privacy needs as well as letting in the daylight into the building. Addition of the terracotta blocks to the black grey colour combination elevates the aesthetics of the building giving it a luxurious and elegant look.
